Job summary

Humanus is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Assistant to support student health and wellness and assist the Certified School Nurse during the 2026–2027 school year. Location is Allentown, PA 18102 with a Monday–Friday 7:15 AM–3:15 PM schedule and immediate start.

Pay ranges: LPN $27–$30/hour and RN $34–$38/hour depending on experience. Qualifications include PA RN/LPN license, ADN, CPR/AED, and state clearances.

Qualifications

• Valid PA RN or LPN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• BSN or graduate Nursing degree preferred
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Required PA clearances
• Negative TB test
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred, not required
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care and first aid
• Perform nursing assessments and support student health plans
• Assist with medication administration according to school policy and state requirements
• Respond to health and safety emergencies
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Collaborate with the Certified School Nurse, school staff, students, and families
• Support student and staff health and wellness
• Help reduce health-related barriers to learning
