The University System of New Hampshire seeks a full-time Recreational Therapist to join the Northeast Passage Clinical Team in Durham. Under supervision, you will deliver school-based recreational therapy, using a strengths-based, goal-driven approach with individual and group sessions in homes, communities and schools.

Qualifications

• CTRS certification through NCTRC is required.
• NH Recreation Therapy license is required/eligible.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to meet DOT certification.
• Complete any additional required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Assess individual/group needs and create treatment plans.
• Plan and implement safe recreation, sport and leisure interventions to support health outcomes.
• Evaluate and document outcomes and progress toward goals.
• Liaise with clients, families and healthcare/educational teams.
• Attend IEP or team meetings and manage related documentation.
• Advocate for access to community-based leisure resources.
• Collaborate across teams and supervise interns/practicum students.
