The University of New Hampshire seeks a Recreational Therapist to support school-based services on the Northeast Passage Clinical Team. Under the direction of the Program Director, you will provide goal-based therapy in homes, communities, and schools, using the APIE process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes.

You will collaborate with clients, families, and schools, participate in IEP/team meetings, manage related contracts, and supervise interns, while upholding UNH's values of

Qualifications

• CTRS certification through NCTRC is required.
• NH Recreation Therapy license required.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to meet DOT certification to drive passenger vans.

Responsabilités

• Provide goal-based recreational therapy services in homes, communities, and school settings.
• Follow the APIE process: Assess, Plan, Implement, Evaluate to support health outcomes.
• Act as liaison with clients, families, and related service providers; attend IEP/team meetings as needed.
• Manage contracts including billing, scheduling, and documentation.
• Supervise interns and practicum students and participate in professional development.
