Ampact is seeking Reading Tutors in the United States to help students develop strong reading skills. In this role, you will provide one-on-one tutoring and track student progress, collaborating closely with a school's coach.

Positions are available full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time (25 hours per week) for the upcoming school year from August 2026 to May 2027. Enjoy a stipend and unique educational opportunities as an AmeriCorps member.

Qualifications

• History of good attendance.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for support.
• Track student progress regularly with on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in software.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching.
• Share experiences with the community.
