Qualifications

• Current RBT certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in ABA or supporting individuals with developmental needs
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior therapy to students using ABA and BIPs
• Support students in achieving goals in IEPs including behavior regulation and social skills
• Collect and document data on behavior and skill acquisition; collaborate with BCBAs
• Assist students in building independence in daily routines and classroom transitions
• Reinforce positive behaviors and use proactive strategies for challenging behaviors
• Communicate professionally with educators, families, and supervisors while maintaining confidentiality
• Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision to support progress
