Job summary

Ro Health is seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral needs in Chula Vista and Spring Valley, CA. The role involves delivering ABA-informed behavioral and educational support in school settings for students from pre-K to high school, either 1:1 or in general classroom capacity.

The position emphasizes calm, clear communication with children and adults, flexibility across multiple classrooms, and physical stamina to move around school environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare and/or ABA.
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process.
• Inclination to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity.
• Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds).
