Job summary

RCM HealthCare Services is seeking a School-based Physical Therapist (PT) in Columbia, SC for a local contract. The role features a 13‑week engagement, 40 hours per week, weekdays with a school day schedule and onsite work in a school setting.

Licensed PT in SC is required; pediatric experience is preferred. Duties include evaluating motor skills, developing and adjusting treatment plans, completing IEP/MET/Medicaid forms, and documenting progress with regular attendance and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of SC.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• SC Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility
• Assess gross motor skills and therapeutic equipment needs of students
• Develop, implement, monitor, and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate
• Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports
• Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards
• Train Paraprofessionals/PTAs on various student plans
• Regular and predictable attendance
