Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a part-time School-Based Physical Therapist in Columbia, SC for the 2026-2027 school year. This role focuses on delivering therapy aligned with IEPs, supporting students to gain independence and succeed in school and beyond.

The successful candidate will license-eligible in SC, have strong communication skills, and pass the required background checks. The role involves collaborating with the care team, supervising PTAs, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Active Physical Therapist license in SC or eligibility.
• Background check ( DOJ/FBI Live Scan) as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students according to IEPs or medical plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to set goals and accommodations.
• Supervise PTAs as needed.
• Conduct initial and ongoing student evaluations.
• Complete annual and triennial reviews in a timely, compliant manner.
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports.
