Job summary

RCM HealthCare Travel seeks a part-time School-Based Occupational Therapist for a 26-27 school year assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. This role focuses on IEP goals, direct and consultative OT services, and collaboration with the IEP team.

The position requires SC OT licensure, a Master’s in OT, and prior experience with children in educational settings. You will develop RTI plans, document services, and train families and staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and related educational laws.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEP goals and objectives in collaboration with the IEP team.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Develop RTI plans and provide services as outlined in plans.
• Support students in fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual-motor integration, self-care, and organization.
