Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a School-Based Part-Time Occupational Therapist in Columbia, SC for the upcoming school year. The role focuses on delivering OT services within a school setting, with an 8-hour workweek and independence on the caseload.

Required is a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and SC licensure; experience with children in educational settings is preferred. Collaboration with IEP teams and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina.
• Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and relevant educational laws and procedures

Responsibilities

• Part-time Occupational Therapist for the 26-27 school year, working independently.
• Develop IEP goals and objectives with the IEP team.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Develop RTI plans and provide services as outlined in plans.
• Support students in fine motor skills, sensory regulation, visual-motor integration, self-care, and organization.
