Job summary

Primary Health Solutions is seeking a Prevention Specialist to coordinate and implement prevention programming in designated schools and communities in Ohio. The role includes delivering programs such as SOS, Second Step, and SBIRT, while building partnerships with the MCADAMHS Board and local stakeholders.

You will progress from Registered Applicant toward Ohio Certified Prevention Assistant (OCPSA) and potentially to OCPSA Specialist, with ongoing training and community outreach

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement assigned prevention programs in designated schools and communities
• Acquire and maintain Prevention Certification per state requirements (RA to OCPSA)
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver SBIRT and other prevention activities with fidelity
• Deliver classroom presentations and manage logistics for scheduling and outreach
• Link students to resources and referrals based on screening results
• Document service delivery accurately in reporting systems and participate in required trainings
