Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our school-based team for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time, on-site position offers 10-12 hours per week during October through May/June, with guaranteed hours and collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric PT preferred.
• Supervision of a PTA as required by state rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually, in small groups, and within classroom or school environments.
• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor measurable IEP goals.
• Create individualized intervention plans based on student needs and priorities.
• Provide therapeutic activities addressing strength, balance, mobility, and functional movement.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school staff; participate in IEP and related meetings.
