TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based role in Rocky Hill, Connecticut for the 2026–2027 school year. You will work on-site with PreK–3 students, supporting gross motor, mobility, strength, balance, and functional movement within an educational setting.

You will evaluate students, develop IEP goals, collaborate with educators and families, and provide supervision to PTA as required.

Competenze

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Department of Education credential or authorization, where required for school-based practice.
• Experience working with children or school-aged students.
• School-based or pediatric PT experience preferred.
• Supervision or collaboration with a PTA preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide direct PT services to students individually, in groups, and in classes.
• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement and monitor educationally relevant IEP goals.
• Create intervention plans aligned with student needs and priorities.
• Provide therapeutic activities addressing strength, balance, mobility, and coordination.
• Support transfers, gait, positioning, and accessible participation in school.
• Evaluate needs for adaptive equipment and mobility supports.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and school staff.
• Document progress, prepare evaluations, IEPs, and required records.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Provide supervision to PTA per state requirements.
