Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a part-time, on-site Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position in Wethersfield, CT. The role involves direct therapy, assessments, IEP planning, progress evaluation, and collaboration with therapists, educators and parents.

Qualified candidates hold a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with state licensure; APPT national license preferred; experience with children and school settings is ideal. On-site duties and guaranteed hours offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• State License as Physical Therapist.
• National License: APTA (Preferred).
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required.
• Experience working with children and applying developmental insights in school settings.
• Strong planning and measurement of intervention outcomes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in the use of technology and documentation systems.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to students in the school setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop IEP-related plans.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust therapy goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators and parents.
• Supervise PTA support and manage case load.
