Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position in El Paso, TX. This is a part-time role servicing 5 schools with a starting rate of $56/hour on a W-2 basis.

Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on helping students succeed academically and functionally, with mentorship and clinical support across pediatric settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to lift and assist patients and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and other treatments to enhance function and alleviate pain; educate on exercises and home routines.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Treatment and Education: Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain. Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, and body mechanics to aid recovery, prevent injuries, and offer guidance on home routines and lifestyle changes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications
