Job summary

Qualifications

• Two+ years of relevant experience preferred.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy as prescribed by student’s IEP.
• Evaluate referred students regarding physical needs.
• Write physical therapy objectives in measurable language.
• Consult and model to classroom staff regarding interventions.
• Develop and demonstrate home programs; instruct parents.
• Maintain ongoing communication with teachers and school staff.
• Maintain data-based records on student progress.
• Participate in the child evaluation team for assigned students.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.
• Provide teachers with written progress information for quarterly reports.
