Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to work with K-12 students across the 2026-2027 school year. The role combines direct service and testing (50/50) in a supportive educational setting, with a 35-hour week and a stable school-year contract.

You will assess, design, and implement therapy aligned with IEPs, traveling between sites as needed and collaborating with families. Massachusetts PT license required; pediatric/school experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings, ideally with K-12 populations.
  • Strong ability to adapt therapy practices to varied student needs and educational goals.
  • Demonstrated record of conducting assessments and implementing individualized treatment.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred for enhanced communication with students and families.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students motor and functional skills to support academic participation.
  • Design and deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions in alignment with IEPs.
  • Split time between direct itinerant service delivery and formal student testing.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and families to optimize care and promote student independence.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and therapeutic planning for students across the K-12 age range.
  • Support a positive, inclusive environment for learners from diverse backgrounds.
