Job summary

Solterra Academy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to deliver individualized PT services to students aged 5–22 with intensive needs. The role involves collaborating with clinicians, teachers, and staff to meet each student’s IEP goals.

Requirements include CT licensure, a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, CPR within 90 days, and experience with children with severe behaviors is preferred. Training provided; comprehensive benefits and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• State licensure in Physical Therapy required.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's preferred.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SMART IEP goals and progress reports.
• Implement IEPs as approved by PPT and track progress.
• Prepare PPT materials and attend PPT meetings.
• Screen and intervene for gross motor disorders; follow up as needed.
• Develop and monitor gross motor treatment plans and progress.
• Collaborate with families and care team on home programs.
