Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a school-based Physical Therapist for the upcoming academic year in the Pottstown, PA area. This part-time role offers 3-4 days per week delivering therapy to K-12 students within a collaborative educational team.

You will evaluate motor skills, help implement IEP goals, and support mobility and independence in students while enjoying a stable school-year contract and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in a school setting, or a passion for pediatric therapy
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans for diverse student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within educational teams, students, and families
• Adaptable, proactive, and creative approach to problem-solving and student care
• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services to K-12 students, tailored to individual education plans
• Evaluate students’ motor skills, coordinate assessments, and recommend interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Provide education to staff and families regarding mobility and adaptive strategies
• Encourage student participation in school activities through targeted interventions
