Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to support K-5 students in a Connecticut school. This role starts at the beginning of the school year and runs through its conclusion, with a flexible two-day-per-week schedule.

The therapist will deliver services, document progress, and collaborate with teachers and families to integrate therapy into daily routines. The ideal candidate holds a valid CT PT license, has school-based or pediatric experience, and is comfortable with Google

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapist license in Connecticut.
• School-based or pediatric PT experience strongly preferred.
• Experience delivering therapy services in educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt approaches for a variety of physical and developmental needs.
• Comfortable with virtual interviews via Google Meets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-5 students (caseload may vary).
• Evaluate, plan, and execute therapy interventions supporting students' mobility, participation, and safety in the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into students' daily routines.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans as needed.
• Stay current with best practices in school-based physical therapy.
