Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time school-based role in Bellevue, Washington. The PT will work across multiple school sites, conducting evaluations and applying services linked to students’ IEPs to improve mobility and access to education.

Start ASAP through December 18, 2026, with potential extension. WA license, OSPI school-based certification, and prior school experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Washington State Physical Therapist license.
• OSPI certification appropriate for school-based physical therapy.
• Previous experience in a school environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations to identify mobility and access needs.
• Develop and implement services aligned with students' IEPs.
• Support strength, balance, coordination, positioning, and mobility in school settings.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environment modifications to improve access.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to integrate strategies.
• Provide guidance on positioning, transfers, and mobility supports to staff.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate reports and service documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Travel between assigned school sites.
