Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, school-based assignment in Bellevue, Washington. The position starts ASAP through December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

You will support students across multiple school sites, helping them build mobility skills and access their educational environments while collaborating with school teams. Applicants should hold a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, a Washington state PT license, and OSPI

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Washington State Physical Therapist license.
• Washington State OSPI certification for school-based PT.
• Previous experience working in a school environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations to identify students' mobility and access needs.
• Develop and implement services aligned with students' IEPs.
• Support students' strength, balance, coordination, positioning, and mobility within school environments.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to improve access and participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to integrate strategies into school routines.
• Provide guidance to school staff on positioning, transfers, and mobility supports.
• Monitor student progress and maintain evaluation reports and service documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Travel between assigned school sites.
