Job summary

Virtua Health in Barrington, NJ is seeking a pediatric physical therapist to provide educationally based evaluations, treatments and consultations within the school setting.

You will collaborate with child study teams and teachers to ensure services align with IEP goals, maintain timely documentation, and participate in IEP and CST meetings; a NJ school certification and current NJ licensure are required.

This per diem, part-time role offers day shifts and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Educationally based pediatric experience preferred.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Current licensure in the State of NJ.
• CPR certification.
• School certification by the NJ Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Provides educationally based PT evaluations, treatments and consultations to pediatric clients within the educational environment.
• Maintains and completes all student documentation, records and reports per guidelines.
• Consults with school staff and families to support IEP goals and student care.
• Attends required school meetings and adapts schedule to protect treatment time.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and department guidelines for documentation.
