Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide educationally based evaluations, treatments and consultations to pediatric clients within school environments. You will work with the school district’s child study teams and teachers to ensure services align with IEP goals.

Responsibilities include evaluative interventions, documenting educationally focused records, and collaborating with CST, families, and teachers.

Qualifications

• Educationally based pediatric experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy required.
• Current licensure in NJ; CPR certification; NJ Department of Education school certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions; adjust plan of care to meet IEP mandates.
• Maintain and complete all student documentation and reports in education-focused format.
• Collaborate with CST, teachers, families and therapists to provide quality patient care and operations.
• Attend school team and IEP meetings and adapt schedule to minimize disruption to student treatment.
