Qualifications

• Completion of academic and clinical requirements for graduation from an approved physical therapy curriculum.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by Florida State Department of Professional Regulation.
• Experience in pediatric settings is preferred.
• A personal vehicle is required as travel to more than one work location may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial evaluations after physician referral.
• Establishes short-term and long-term IEP-based treatment goals.
• Plans and implements treatment programs and schedules based on Florida PT/PTA guidelines.
• Supervises Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants and coordinates with OTs.
• Maintains required records: evaluations, progress notes, and communications.
