Job summary

Cynergy Rehab Group is hiring a School-Based Physical Therapist to work between Maumelle and Little Rock, AR. You will conduct evaluations, design IEP-driven plans, and deliver PT services in classrooms to enhance mobility and independence.

Ideal candidates hold an Arkansas PT license and a DPT from an accredited program, with a passion for pediatric care. Collaboration with educators and families is essential, with travel between campuses required.

Qualifications

• Arkansas PT license
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students with orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and genetic conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals to support educational participation
• Provide direct PT services in school settings to improve mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and participation
• Recommend and monitor adaptive equipment and orthotics
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, nurses, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and advise on classroom accommodations and mobility needs
• Educate staff on transfers, positioning, mobility strategies, and carryover activities
• Complete evaluations, progress reports, and Medicaid documentation timely and compliantly
• Travel between assigned school campuses in Maumelle and Little Rock areas
