Job summary

Markent Personnel represents a Bronx, NY school seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role. New grads welcome; compensation $63K-$78K per year and day shift, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include reviewing IEPs, reporting, assessing student needs, and developing plans to improve fine motor, visual, sensory, and daily living skills. NY OT licensure required or near-term licensure target.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid New York state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs and implement targeted goals.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports, including IEP updates.
• Assess student needs and develop individualized implementation plans.
• Strengthen fine motor skills through targeted interventions.
• Differentiate instruction to meet each student’s unique needs.
• Design plans and utilize equipment to support daily living skills.
• Improve visual, auditory, sensory, and perceptual functioning.
