True North Consultants, Inc. in New York is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Bronx-based school to support children with disabilities. The role welcomes new grads and offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday on a day shift.

The OT will review IEPs, implement goals, and assess student needs to plan individualized interventions, including fine motor skills and daily living skills, with a focus on sensory and perceptual development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid New York state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs and implement targeted goals.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports, including IEP updates.
• Assess student needs and develop individualized implementation plans.
• Strengthen fine motor skills through targeted interventions.
• Differentiate instruction to meet each student’s unique needs.
• Design plans and utilize equipment to support daily living skills.
• Improve visual, auditory, sensory, and perceptual functioning.
