Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Registered Nurses to work in California public school districts for the school year. In-person assignments statewide, Monday through Friday while school is in session, with ASAP start and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• CA state nursing license required.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Current negative TB result.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution.
• Monitor immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status and follow-up care.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods.
• Frequent bending, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
