Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is hiring qualified nurses to work in California public school districts for the school year. The role involves pediatrics and school health, with in-person assignments across California and a Monday–Friday schedule while school is in session.

Start date is ASAP and flexible. New graduates are welcome, with opportunities for credential support, PTO and health benefits for eligible providers, and commuter benefits through Edenred.

Qualifications

• CA state nursing license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Current negative TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide 1:1 support for students, including g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, or seizure precautions.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding health status and follow-up needs.
• Assist with mobility and daily activities as needed (standing/walking/sitting for long periods).
• Frequent bending, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.
