Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks a Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional to support students with developmental disabilities in Flint, MI. The aide will collaborate with support staff and behavioral coaches to provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support.

Qualifications

• Must have own transportation.
• Ability to satisfactorily complete and pass given background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist student in general education classroom with note taking, testing, etc.
• Alerts regular teacher to any problem or special information about the individual student(s)
• Assist with student's participation in small groups of students as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist in checking and correction of papers and preparation of materials under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist with audio-visual and computer setups and operation.
• Monitor the instruction activities of the student and assist as appropriate or as directed by the classroom teacher.
