Job summary

Interim Healthcare of Chester County is seeking a School-Based Paraprofessional to support students with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral needs in Chester County, PA. You will work closely with teachers and school staff to promote learning, independence, and social skills during the school day.

This role offers school hours, weekends and summers off, a supportive team, and competitive weekly pay as a W2 employee.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs or behavioral challenges, following students' IEPs.
• Strong communication and DE-escalation skills.
• Reliable Transportation and commitment to consistent school day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support students with autism, ADHD, and developmental disorders - either a one on one or a group
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP's)
• Assist students with social skills, emotional regulation, coping skills
• Redirect behaviors while enforcing positive behaviors and coping mechanisms
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and school staff to develop student success strategies
• Document student progress, behaviors and interventions in compliance with school policies
