Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a K–12 setting in Mukilteo, WA. The OT will evaluate, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

Role suits experienced school OTs or those transitioning to schools; benefits include healthcare, 401(k) and licensure reimbursements, with up to $72/hour pay and a steady school-year schedule.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Washington State OT license.
• ESA Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.
