Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Mukilteo, WA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support K–12 students in a school setting. The role involves evaluations, IEP development, and collaboration with school teams to promote student success.

You’ll conduct assessments, set goals, participate in IEP meetings, and adapt activities to improve fine motor, sensory, and functional skills. This position offers W-2 employment, liability insurance, health benefits, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Washington State OT license.
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• ESA Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.
