Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based occupational therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. You will evaluate students and develop individualized plans of care, delivering direct and consultative therapy in classrooms and therapy spaces.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to align therapy goals with daily routines, while documenting progress and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure to practice in the state of SC.
• Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy, sensory integration, and IEP processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Flexibility and resourcefulness in dynamic educational environments.
• Dedication to professional growth and best practices in school-based therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for students requiring occupational therapy.
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within classrooms or designated therapy spaces.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to integrate therapy goals into daily routines.
• Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with district and regulatory standards.
• Support student participation in academic and functional activities throughout school settings.
• Assist in developing and implementing classroom modifications and assistive strategies as needed.
