Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) for the current school year to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade in a school setting. This full-time role averages 32–35 hours per week, distributed over four days.

The ideal candidate will hold an active California OTR license, have prior school-based experience, and be skilled in IEP processes, OT assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help students develop functional skills for learning.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in California.
• Experience in a school-based setting required.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and OT assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations for Pre-K through 12th-grade students.
• Develop, write, and present evaluation reports and IEPs.
• Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and interventions per student IEP goals.
• Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
