Job summary

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for school-based positions in the Commerce City, CO area. This role offers the chance to impact students' educational and developmental success within a supportive team environment.

A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, an active Colorado OT license, and NBCOT certification are required, with school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred. Pay ranges from $45 to $55 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license issued by DORA
• Current NBCOT certification
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SSP license for school-based practice
• Passing state and federal background checks as required by the district
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to students addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and functional daily living skills
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct evaluations and assessments, documenting progress in compliance with state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to support student growth and access to education
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and classroom strategies to promote independence and inclusion
