Job summary

Soliant is partnering with a welcoming school district near New Bern, North Carolina to hire a passionate Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This onsite role serves K–12 students with diverse developmental needs, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, provide direct OT services, and collaborate with educators to enhance classroom participation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Active North Carolina OT license (or eligibility to obtain).
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and monitor student progress.
• Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective classroom strategies and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning.

Education
