Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time, school-based itinerant position in North Carolina. The role supports K-12 students during a maternity leave, with a schedule aligned to the academic calendar.

You will deliver therapy, manage caseloads across multiple sites, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress in ECATS. This contract runs through late January with virtual interviewing options.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (must provide proof of licensure).
• Experience working in schools as an Occupational Therapist.
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and caseload management.
• Proficiency in ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) or similar digital IEP/paperwork systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both in-person and virtually.
• Ability to work independently while managing itinerant schedules across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy services to K-12 students, supporting their academic, social, and functional needs.
• Manage an itinerant caseload across school sites as assigned.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary education teams, including special education staff, teachers, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings, develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain diligent and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards.
• Use ECATS for tracking interventions, progress, and outcomes.
