Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license/credential for IL
• Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based and/or special education experience a plus
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, sensory processing, development
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
• Ability to meet all school, licensing, and employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Providing OT services to students individually and in small groups
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals
• Supporting fine motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
• Helping students develop self-care and classroom participation skills
• Monitoring and documenting progress toward goals
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goals
• Recommending strategies and adaptive equipment to support success
• Maintaining confidentiality and following policies
