Job summary

Ogle County Education Cooperative Central Office in Byron, Illinois, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide itinerant school-based therapy for students aged 3–22. The clinician will collaborate with IEP teams, deliver direct and consultative services, and ensure goals align with ISBE standards.

Responsibilities include documentation, progress tracking, and parent/staff communication. AOTA-accredited degree and IL license are required; pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current and holds a valid license issued through the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulations as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the development and updating of IEP goals and objectives based on student needs.
• Provide school-based occupational therapy services, direct or consultative, within classrooms or other settings.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and reports for each student.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student goals.
• Supervise and mentor a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant as allowed by state licensure.
