Job summary

Lionsgate Academy in Shoreview, MN, seeks an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, school-year role. You will provide direct, indirect, and consultative OT services to grades 7–12 aligned with IEPs, assess students, set goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support functional skills in school settings.

Responsibilities include documentation, progress monitoring, and IEP tasks, with universal design strategies to boost participation.

Qualifications

• Minnesota OT license required.
• Experience with middle and high school students or similar settings.
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, indirect and consultative occupational therapy services to students in grades 7–12 per IEP needs.
• Assess students and develop OT goals, interventions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers and school teams.
• Support students in developing functional skills related to fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation and school participation.
• Complete required documentation, progress monitoring and IEP responsibilities.
• Create and implement universal design to promote participation across school settings.
