Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks an Occupational Therapist to plan and deliver therapy to students with physical and developmental disabilities within the school setting. You will evaluate occupational performance, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with school teams to support ARD goals and student participation in education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Valid Occupational Therapist license to practice in Texas.
• 1 year pediatric experience required; 3 years pediatric preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and ARD committees.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide direct therapy and consultative services for students with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
• Evaluate student occupational performance using functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments.
• Develop comprehensive written reports and guide intervention.
• Collaborate with school teams to achieve student outcomes and support placement decisions.
• Educate and train school personnel, parents, and community agencies in occupational therapy practices.
• Supervise and evaluate fieldwork students in OT programs.
