Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy or related program.
• Valid Texas OT license.
• One year of experience as an occupational therapist.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
• Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of services.
• Design, construct, and adapt equipment to promote independence.
• Assess students with physical disabilities for services.
• Participate in ARD Committee for assessment interpretation and placement.
• Consult with educational staff and parents regarding therapy.
• Provide staff development on adaptive equipment usage and OT programs.
• Maintain required reports and documentation.
