Career Links is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve PreK–8th grade students in a school setting with a 4-day work week. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NM OT license from RLD.
• NBCOT certification.
• Eligibility to obtain NM school-based credentials.
• Ability to pass state, federal, and district background checks.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for PreK–8th grade students.
• Develop and implement OT treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services within the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, sensory supports, and environmental modifications.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing as required.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations.
