Reach for the Stars Learning Center in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our private not-for-profit school serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role can be full or part-time and starts immediately, with a focus on individualized and small group OT services.

Responsibilities include managing caseloads, developing IEP goals, conducting assessments, and collaborating with classroom staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in occupational therapy.
• Current New York State occupational therapy license required.

Responsabilités

• Manage small caseload.
• Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services.
• Organize and adapt programs to meet student skill level.
• Conduct score and analyze assessments.
• Create score and update OT IEP goals.
• Complete annual progress reports and evaluation reports.
• Daily documentation notes of individual and group occupational therapy sessions.
• Actively participate in OT Department meetings and individual supervision time.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in weekly team meetings.
• Recommend and implement appropriate therapeutic programs and interventions.
• Train and provide OT in-service to classroom staff on therapeutic programs.
• Provide weekly progress updates to parents.
• Prepare for and participate in IEP meetings for students on caseload.
