Job summary

Reach for the Stars Learning Center, a private school for children with ASD, is seeking a full or part time Occupational Therapist to join our team in New York.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Current New York State occupational therapy license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage small caseload.
• Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services.
• Organize and adapt programs to meet student skill level.
• Conduct, score and analyze assessments.
• Create, score and update OT IEP goals.
• Complete annual progress reports and evaluation reports.
• Daily documentation notes of OT sessions.
• Participate in OT Dept meetings and supervision.
• Collaborate with team members and attend weekly meetings.
• Recommend and implement therapeutic programs and interventions.
• Train, assist and provide OT in-service to classroom staff.
• Provide weekly progress updates to parents.
• Prepare for and participate in IEP meetings for students on caseload.
