Job summary

Skills on the Hill, LLC is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver school-based OT services as an independent contractor in DC public charter schools. You set your own hours, run your own practice within our contracts, and are paid for the services you deliver.

This role requires DC license, liability insurance, and the ability to manage evaluations, IEP participation, and communications with school staff. You’ll work autonomously with group options for compensation growth.

Qualifications

• Current DC Board of Occupational Therapy license
• Proof of professional liability insurance
• Valid CPR/first aid certification
• Current TB test
• Background clearances required for DC school-based work — we have an approved company, less than $20!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized school-based OT services for students on your assigned caseload
• Write evaluations and progress documentation that meet IEP and school requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings for your students
• Communicate professionally with school staff and families
• Practice within your scope, your licensure, and your own clinical standards
