Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time occupational therapist to support students in a K-12 school-based setting. The role includes delivering therapy both in person and via teletherapy, with a focus on improving fine and gross motor skills to boost classroom participation and learning.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff, participate in IEP meetings, document assessments and progress, and tailor interventions to educational goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification.
• Experience or strong interest in working with school-age children.
• Solid foundation in fine and gross motor skill development.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Background in school-based OT services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop customized intervention plans.
• Provide direct therapy onsite and through teletherapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to facilitate student progress.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on student goals.
• Adapt interventions and supports to align with educational objectives.
