Pawling Central School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a district-wide leave replacement assignment beginning January 2027 through June 2027. The role involves developing and implementing OT goals aligned with students' IEPs and collaborating with teachers and other service providers to support classroom participation.

Candidates must hold New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or be registered as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) and have knowledge

• Knowledge of special education regulations, IEP development, and educationally relevant occupational therapy practices.

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy goals and interventions consistent with students' IEPs and applicable regulations.
• Support the development of fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities.
• Provide direct and/or consultative services in accordance with students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with instructional staff and related service providers to support access to the curriculum, classroom participation and progress towards educational goals.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports as required.
• Participate in CSE meetings and contribute professional recommendations regarding students' occupational therapy needs and services.
• Communicate and collaborate with family and school personnel to promote the generalization of skills across educational settings.
